The grounds are like a wonderful large park with a nice large lake. Everyone there was friendly. When my motor home slide out would not go in, Dan got five other workers away from their jobs to come and help push it in. Thanks to everyone for helping us to get back on our way.
Getting there is a challenge, but worth the effort. The scenery and lake are beautiful. Most of the sites seem to be permanent, and they're always working on something.

Absolutely disgusted with the management and owners of this campground. We had canceled due to a rain storm memorial weekend and was informed by the reservation staff that we could cancel but would lose one nights pay and they would credit our card back for the remaining balance after the holiday weekend. We've waited and called several times and finally they all agree that they don't refund for rain or holiday weekends. I don't even see a policy on their website and we didn't sign anything. They wouldn't even offer to make things right or even offer a weekend stay for the three nights we loss. Needless to say we won't be back or support Stoney Creek in the future. There's plenty of other campgrounds around the area that actually strive to make their guests/ customers #1.
After reading several negative reviews, was very hesitant about continuing with our reservations. Once we arrived, it was the exact opposite! It was a great experience! Everyone was friendly! Staff was excellent! Sites were clean and very spacious! Exceeded our expectations! Will make Stoney Creek Resort a yearly visit.
